Harmonizers sing for seniors

Broadway, Motown, and jazz classics will fill the air when the North Shore Harmonizers sing at 2pm on Sunday, August 12, at Three Crowns Park retirement home, 2323 McDaniel Ave. in Evanston. The Harmonizers, an independent women's a cappella chorus in the barbershop tradition, will perform an all-American show for the resident senior citizens and their friends.

Founded in 1952, the North Shore Harmonizers are celebrating their Diamond Jubilee year performing in public concerts, just recently at Wilmette’s Wallace Bowl, and on October 21 in Evanston, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers' markets during the summer.
