Huntington's Disease Fundraising Gala
New Jazz Mural To Raise Money For Woody Guthrie Disease
A gala event, which will unveil the largest Jazz mural in Chicago, to raise funds, and to raise awareness for Huntington's disease (also known as Woody Guthrie disease), will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5th, from 7pm to 10pm at Orchestra Hall in Logan Square - 2341 N. Milwaukee, Chicago, IL.
Muralist and printmaker, Stefan Johanson, will unveil his mural, commemorating the emergence of the modern Jazz Masters. This event will also mark the grand opening of Orchestra Hall's new outdoor performance venue, a unique space in
Logan Square that will feature music and theatrical events.
Entertainment for the event will be provided by
The Logan Square New Music Ensemble (a large chamber group performing original compositions by their members), and Jeff
Kier & The Grilly Brothers Jazz Ensemble.
A $12 suggested donation will include a beverage of choice.
