Michael Smith and Small Potatoes

That's right:  Small Potatoes AND Michael Smith, on the same night!

Small Potatoes, the Chicago-based folk duo of Jacquie
Manning and Rich Prezioso, has earned sought-after status at clubs, coffeehouses, and festivals across the U.S. Both sing and play guitars and an array of other instruments.  They've been heralded as "one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit."  You'll be treated to a rare blend of vocal and instrumental abilities expressed in original and borrowed material arranged like you've never heard before.

Michael Smith is a songwriter's songwriter, having penned songs that are poignant, mysterious, or hilarious...sometimes all three at once.  His voice is honest, his guitar playing fluid and inventive.  He gathers his audience with his sense of humor and drama.  Michael's concerts are consistently memorable, and his songs have been recorded by the likes of Anne Hills, Bernice Lewis, Tom Rush, Gordon Bok, the late Steve Goodman, and more.  He is a singular experience;  there's simply no one like Michael on the concert scene.
