North Shore United Way Battle of the Bands

North Shore United Way is proud to present an evening of live music at S.P.A.C.E. in Evanston. The evening consists of a showdown between five local bands to raise awareness for North Shore United Way’s commitment to education in the Evanston community. The bands, including The Basement Band, Dexter, Sweet Potato Zydeco Band, The Nuisance Band and Handsome Dave and The Ravens, will compete for two victory spots, one picked by the audience and another by a panel of judges. Ravi Baichwal, an Emmy award-winning local news anchor for ABC7 will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.
