The Talking Farm will be selling organically grown vegetable and herb seedlings at the Evanston Garden Fair. Please join us and pick up these special seedlings to plant in your own backyard and have fresh garden produce all summer and fall. This is our 4th year participating in the Garden Fair and we will have 35 varieties of warm and cool weather seedlings including tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, watermelon, pumpkin, squash, cucumber, brassicas, chives, leeks, and many herbs. In addition, we will also sell perennials from our Board members’ gardens, and gently-used garden tools and gardening books. On Saturday, at 11am, an Evanston beekeeper will be at our booth with her demonstration hive to answer questions and from 12 to 3, we will feature our “Ask the Expert” to answer all of your gardening questions.
