May 12 10:30am to celebrate Mother's Day with "We Love Mommy!".Nili will perform her favorite mommy and family stories and this event is free and suitable for all ages. Nili Yelin, a Northwestern University Theatre graduate combines her love of books, theatre, children and motherhood into an interactive "sit down stand-up" style of storytelling for children of all ages. Incorporating her background in theatre, film, voice-over , improv and stand-up comedy, Nili adapts and dramatizes picture books, poems, songs, finger-plays and original material.Nili appears weekly at venues all over Chicago( schedule available at www.storybookmom.com) and has recently added locations on the North Shore as well. She also appears at many schools, libraries, museums and festivals. Nili hosts the Children's Stage at the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair and recently appeared at the Field Museum's Crown Family Play Lab for a series of storytelling events. She also narrates the Field Museum's children's pod casts .
