New Trier Grad Makes SNL Debut With Tina Fey

Beck Bennett, one of the show's newest cast members, appeared on his first episode of SNL this weekend.

Beck Bennett, a Wilmette native and New Trier graduate, made his official Saturday Night Live debut this weekend. His first skit was alongside host Tina Fey and the five other new cast members in the opening monologue, where he donned gold shorts and a sparkly blazer for a dance routine.

Bennett is also currently the star of a popular series of AT&T commercials where he talks, straight-faced, to small groups of talkative kids.

In another local connection, Oak Park native and Northwestern grad Cecily Strong, is the new Weekend Update co-host.
