Police: Man Shot In Leg On Emerson

Police say a 45-year-old Evanston man was shot in the leg around 2 a.m. Saturday, June 1, in the 2000 block of Emerson Street.

Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area when they found the man with a gunshot wound in his right leg. He is being treated at a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police said. The victim is not cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
