Evanston Patch accepted nominations from our readers and then asked you to vote last week. Here's the winner.
As the country sat down to watch the Super Bowl Sunday night, another hotly anticipated contest was settled on Evanston Patch. The city's best pizza, as voted by our readers, is Trattoria D.O.C.
The pizzeria at 706 Main St. had a solid 60 percent of the vote as of 5 p.m. Sunday. In second place, with 14 percent of the vote, was Lou Malnati's. Gigio's came in third with 7 percent.
Restaurants were nominated by Patch readers and voted on all last week. Congrats, Trattoria D.O.C.
