Ayla's Original's Re-Opens With New Look, Same Extensive Bead Selection

Ayla's Originals is re-opening with a whole new look after 17 years at 1511 Sherman Ave. in Evanston.

Evanston bead shop Ayla's Originals is holding a grand re-opening celebration Friday, June 14, through Sunday, June 16, to celebrate a complete renovation of the store after 17 years in business.

Located at 1511 Sherman Ave., Ayla's will be closed Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, while renovations are underway. When work is finished, the new store will have a "rustic elegant" theme, according to a press release, and will showcase the store's original finished jewelry at the front of the shop.

“After 17 years, we are excited to relaunch our store and offer our customers a new look,” shop owner Ayla Pizzo said in the release. “We are making it easier for customers to find that special piece of jewelry, all the while expanding our selection of beads.”

During the grand opening weekend, all jewelry will be sold at 40% off, according to the release.
