Bookman's Alley Still Open, To Close 'By the End of Spring'

Owner of beloved shop had planned to already be closed.

Roger Carlson, owner of the beloved Evanston bookstore, , says he really is planning to close, even if his store has remained open a couple months longer than planned, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Carlson originally planned to retire and close in January, but has kept pushing the date back. According to the article, he really will shutter the shop, "probably by the end of spring."
