Bye-bye, Lululemon Evanston
"It's been real, Evanston," the store posted on a sign in its window. Lululemon has now relocated to Old Orchard Mall in Skokie.
The yoga and athletic clothing store at 1622 Sherman Ave. in Evanston closed on Sept. 10, according to a recording on store's voicemail.
Evanston fans of Lululemon will now have to travel to Skokie, where the store has reopened in Old Orchard Mall.
The space will eventually be filled by Protein Bar, a cafe that specializes in healthy, high-protein foods. Protein Bar has 12 locations around the Chicago area, and hopes to open its Evanston location at 1622 Sherman Ave. in March 2014, according to owner Matt Matros.
