Evanston Lifestyle Company Plans to Turn Biz into a Franchise

Solay Wellness Inc. will officially open its flagship store in Evanston on Thursday.

 

Solay Wellness Inc., a wellness company, with locations in Evanston and Skokie is planning to turn its business into a franchise, the Daily Northwestern reported. 

The family-owned store is preparing to move beyond its online-based market by franchising the business to sell the company’s organic products, according to Isabella Samovsky, the company’s founder and CEO, the Daily Northwestern reported.

The company is among the 15 new businesses that opened in Evanston since last fall. The new businesses employ a total of 112 full-time and 67 part-time workers, according to city data. 

The city expects eight businesses to open in the near future, including La Macchina,Andersonville Galleria, Farmhouse, Joy Yee to Go, Forever Yogurt, Smylie Bros. Restaurant & Brewery, OSKA Company Store and Naf Naf Grill.
