Found Makes 'Chicago Reader's' Best of Chicago 2013 List

The Evanston eatery on Chicago Avenue was named 'Best Everything'.

Found has another accolade to its name. It was recently named ‘Best Everything’ on Chicago Reader’s Best of Chicago 2013 List.

I'll confess there's little in the midwest I hold in higher regard than restaurateur Amy Morton's Found Kitchen & Social House, which provides at least three entries on the short list of reasons to get on the Purple Line,” writes Sam Worley on the website.

Worley is a fan of Chef Nicole Pederson’s food, calling her a “vegetable magician’ and also Jan Henrichsen, who oversees the bar and front of the house, describing the bar as “capable, on a recent cocktail list, of putting chocolate syrup in a manhattan.”

In May, the American bistro was named one of Chicago Magazine’s best new restaurants of the year because it  “has the kind of enthusiastic menu and following that any restaurant would kill for.”
