Groupon Founder Has No Plans to Sell Evanston Home

Andrew Mason is moving to San Francisco this summer but expects to visit Evanston often.

 

Groupon founder Andrew Mason is planning to move to San Francisco this summer but says he has no plans to sell his lakefront home in Evanston and expects to visit often, according to a post on his blog. 

Mason says Chicago is developing quickly as a technology hub and he hopes to support the community of entrepreneurs here.

While on the West Coast, Mason plans to spend a day each week at Y Combinator, a venture capital firm that funds startups, “to keep my brain from atrophying.”
