Jewel Buying Howard St. Dominick’s
The grocery chain announced it's buying five more former Dominick's spaces in Chicago and the suburbs.
Jewel is buying the vacant Dominick’s space at 1763 Howard St., according to an article in Crain’s Chicago Business. It’s one of five more locations that Jewel is buying in Chicago and the suburbs since Dominick’s left the Chicago market late last year.
The Evanston Dominick’s on Green Bay Road is being turned into a Whole Foods. The city has created a committee to look into what should fill the Dempster Street Dominick’s space.
