Link's Sweet Bean Will Move Coffee Roasting Business to Evanston

The downtown Wilmette coffee shop closed its doors on Feb. 23, but owner Lourdes Links will be moving her coffee roasting business to Evanston, according to the 'Sun Times.'

Link's Sweet Bean, located at 1141 Greenleaf Ave. in downtown Wilmette, closed its doors this week, after eight years in that location.

But owner Lourdes Links is partnering with local entreperenuer Marcus Lemonis to move her wholesale coffee roasting business to Evanston, according to the Sun-Times, where she will continue to continue roast beans for sale to local businesses including Whole Foods and Fresh Market. 

Links' new partner, Lemonis, recently stepped in to save Rose’s Wheat Free Bakery and Café, after owner Rose O’Carroll announced she would have to close at the end of December. At the last minute, and the announcement that he would partner with O'Carroll to help make the business profitable.
