Mediterranean Restaurant Moving In Downtown
Olive Mediterranean Grill is slated to open soon at 1726 Sherman Ave. downtown.
A new restaurant called Olive Mediterranean Grill is opening soon at 1726 Sherman Ave. in Evanston, at the former Starbucks location downtown.
The restaurant has two locations in Chicago, on North Avenue and Clark Street, according to its website.
A menu posted on the door includes such specialties as shawarma, kabobs, hummus and baba ghanouj.
In a press release posted on the Chicago Tribune website, Baum Realty Group announced that the 1,800-square-foot restaurant would open in late summer 2013.
Starbucks moved a few doors north to 1734 Sherman Ave. this spring, in a new location that is triple the size of its former spot.
