Neighbors Say Thanks, Goodbye to Dominick's Employees

Neighbors will say goodbye to Dominick's employees; close-out deals of 50-70% continue.

Neighbors of the Dominick's Store in Evanston Plaza will host a small reception today, Monday Dec. 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to say "thank you" and "goodbye" to the employees.

"We want to thank our local Dominick's employees who have served this community with grace and dignity," said organizer Dickelle Fonda. She said they will set up a table with a banner thanking the employees on which neighbors and customers can write their own messages.

"Many of these employees have worked here for many years," Fonda said in an email. "Let's thank them for their service to our community, let them know they will be missed and wish them well."

Some Dominick's stores have been selling food and other items at 50-75% off since Dec. 20, according to myfoxchicago.com.
