Rose's Bakery Opens Second Location in Highland Park

Evanston's wheat-free bakery is expanding to Highland Park this July.

By Jacob Nelson

Marcus Lemonis, the Lake Forest resident who bought Rose’s Wheat-Free Bakery & Cafe in Evanston last December, will open a second location for the bakery in Highland Park in July, according to Marketwire.

The bakery will be located at 478 Central Ave. in downtown Highland Park. Lemonis originally announced Rose's would open in February of this year, but that was before a location had been determined.

Rose’s Bakery and Café will offer fresh baked breads, cookies, cakes, cupcakes and muffins, as well as pizza, soups and sandwiches. The Highland Park location will be open seven days a week with extended hours in the summer.

"Having gone gluten free over a year ago and becoming a patron of Rose's, I know the love and devotion that customers have for Rose's," Lemonis said back in January.

Lemonis will also star in his own reality television series on CNBC, "The Profit," which premieres on Tuesday nights beginning July 30, according to Marketwire.
