The craft brewery has applied for a liquor license at 825 Chicago Ave.
Evanston could soon be home to yet another brewery.
Sketchbook Brewing Co., a craft brewery, is applying for a liquor license at its brand new space at 825 Chicago Avenue. The Liquor Control Review Board will consider the application Tuesday.
Sketchbook’s Facebook page, which launched a few weeks ago, says it’s hoping to open in late spring or early summer.

It’s website, which is under construction and doesn’t have much info, says Sketchbook is a “start-up nanobrewery in Evanston, IL focused on small-batch high-quality community supported brewing.”
When it opens, Sketchbook will join other Evanston brewery newcomers Peckish Pig, which opened Thursday, Temperance Beer, which debuted its first beer last fall, and Smylie Bros, which is hoping to open soon.
