What is the Best Music Venue in Evanston?

Vote for your favorite in our weekly Readers' Choice series.

Evanston is home to a diverse group of music venues, which includes local pubs supporting folk tunes, jazz lounges and concert halls.

For this week’s Readers’ Choice, let us know which Evanston venue has become your favorite, and whether you like the spot due to the acts that perform there, superior acoustics or the space’s general vibe.

Make sure to vote in the poll below, and leave a review in our business directory so that others can benefit from your knowledge.

Here are this week's nominees:

1823 Church St.
500 Main St.
626 Church St.
1490 Chicago Ave.
1557 Sherman Ave.
50 Arts Circle Dr.
1715 Maple Ave.
1245 Chicago Ave.
1450 Sherman Ave.

If we missed a spot, let us know in the comments, and we'll add it to the list.

Winners will be decided by a combination of poll votes and reviews on their business directory page. Polls close at 9 a.m. Friday, and we'll announce the winner later that day. Official rules are on the PDF above.

I voted for Nichols Concert Hall because it is fabulous. I like the acts at Pete Miller's but the acoustics are TERRIBLE!

Harvey, thanks for tipping us off to the Unitarian Church. Since voting is almost over, we'll hold off on adding it to this list. But we will certainly keep it in mind for future Readers' Choice polls.
