EVANSTON, Ill. – State
Rep. Robyn Gabel, D-Evanston, is sponsoring a Winter Coat Drive beginning Saturday,
Oct. 12 through Saturday, Nov. 30 to provide Connections for the Homeless with
winter coats for those in need and homeless families.



 



“The coat drive is an effort to provide needy residents with
warm coats and other items during the winter months,” Gabel said. “I urge local
residents to check their closets for winter coats they can donate to help
ensure those in need have are warm this winter.”

Multiple drop-off locations will accept donations of new or
gently used winter coats for men, women, children and infants. Area residents
may drop off winter coats donations at any of the following locations:
