First Bank & Trust Announces Hire of Andrew W. Drendel as Senior Vice President Trust & Investments

First Bank & Trust is proud to announce the hire of Andrew W. Drendel as Senior Vice President, Trust and Investments. Drendel joined the staff in February of 2014, and will manage the Trust and Investments team.

Drendel has over 40 years of wealth management experience, the last 20 in the Chicagoland market. His areas of expertise are in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Asset Protection and Fiduciary Practice Management for high net worth individuals.

Prior to joining First Bank & Trust, he worked for U S Trust / Bank of America N.A., LaSalle Bank N.A., M & I Trust in Milwaukee, First National Bank & Trust Company of Rockford, and The First National Bank of Peoria. Drendel serves as Chairman for the Advisory Council for the School of Business at his alma mater Illinois State University. He was awarded his Charted Trust and Financial Advisor C T F A designation by the Institute of Certified Bankers, and was twice elected President of the Corporate Fiduciaries Association of Illinois.

Drendel has served on the board of directors of Visiting Nurse Associations of America and American Business Club, and was an Illinois High School Association wrestling official for 18 years.
