First Bank & Trust Announces Hire of Michael Rose as Vice President – Chief Investment Officer

EVANSTON, Ill. First Bank & Trust is proud to announce the hire of Michael Rose as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Rose joined the staff in March of 2014 and is now part of First Bank & Trust’s Trust and Investments Department.

“Michael brings significant experience in portfolio management that will enhance the Trust Department’s resources,” said First Bank & Trust’s Managing Director of Trust and Investments Michael Westberg.

After earning a degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and completing his securities licenses, Rose began his career at LaSalle Street Securities in Chicago.  He moved to Feldman Securities Group LLC where he advanced from Portfolio Analyst, to Portfolio Manager and finally Senior Portfolio Manager over his 12-year tenure there.  Prior to joining First Bank & Trust, he operated his own investment advisory, Mission Investments LLC, on Michigan Avenue for eight years. Rose is also a board member of the International Music Foundation in Chicago.
