Forks and Knives at the Ready, Burger Wars/Salad Skirmish Underway
With over 23 restaurants ready to do battle over who’s best, the
2nd Annual Burger War is underway in Evanston. Added to the battle ground is the Salad Skirmish. The contest runs from August 7 to September 17.

Kemna-Irish. She added that since not all restaurants feature burgers, the idea of adding a salad was well received. Some restaurants will do both, some a single entry.
Voters can use their phones to vote by scanning in a QR code or go to the Chamber website, evchamber.com to vote. Voters are also eligible to win weekly restaurant gift card drawings during the contest, beginning the week of August 12.
All restaurants entered are members of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. Other restaurants are encouraged to join in competition. The winners will be announced at the 4th Annual MashUp on Tuesday evening, Sept. 17.
