Orthodontist Dr. Barry Walvoord Enlarges Practice

 Evanston orthodontist, Dr. Barry Walvoord, has acquired the orthodontic practice of Dr. Lloyd Urban.   Dr. Urban, who has practiced in Evanston for over 45 years, said that he thoroughly enjoyed serving Evanston families and was delighted to turn over his practice to such a well- qualified colleague.

Regarding his acquisition of Dr. Urban’s practice,  Dr. Walvoord indicated, “I am looking forward to working with Dr. Urban’s patients and hope to establish the warm and professional relationship he  had with his patients and their families.”

Dr Walvoord is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry and received his specialty degree in orthodontics from the University of Michigan.  He has practiced in Evanston for over 20 years.  Dr. Walvoord’s office is located at 1572 Maple Ave. where he maintains a state-of-the-art dental facility featuring the most advanced orthodontic techniques.

Dr. Walvoord is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontist, the American Dental Society the Midwestern Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.
