Gasoline Prices Drop in Evanston

Moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the dip in prices, the Chicago Tribune reports.

 

Gas prices are finally going down for Evanston drivers.

The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.

As of Monday afternoon, the following three gas stations have the lowest prices in Evaston, according to GasBuddy.com: 

  • $3.91, Sam's Club, 2450 Main St.
  • $3.98, CITGO, 1925 Green Bay Rd.
  • $3.98, Shell, 2494 Oakton St.
