Share Thoughts, Prayers, Reaction for Boston

A look at how Evanston is showing support for those affected by the terror attack at the Boston Marathon.

Share your prayers, thoughts and concerns for those who were at the Boston Marathon, where two explosions are reported to have killed two people and injured more than 100.

The FBI is calling this a terrorist attack, according to CNN. Several eyewitnesses described the scene as "horrific."

Loreen Strasser posted on Facebook that she knew someone running the marathon, and "I have verified that she and her family are fine."

Sen. Mark Kirk posted this message to his Facebook page: "My prayers today are for those at the Boston Marathon - a special thanks to our first responders on the scene."

"Our hearts go out to our family on the East Coast," Oceanique posted on Facebook.

Giordano's of Evanston shared this message: "Our thoughts and sympathy go out to all those affected by this horrible act of unnecessary killing of civilians. Worried about anyone? http://google.org/personfinder/2013-boston-explosions"

"Thinking of all of those affected by the tragic events in Boston today," Northwestern University Career Services posted on Facebook.

"Let us keep the City of Boston...and the United States of America...in our prayers," wrote Safe House Church of Evanston on Facebook.
