Dog Day at McGaw YMCA in support of two great causes

Take your dog to play in the pool on Saturday, August 24th, 9am-12 pm and support two good causes at the same time. Your $10 minimum donation will support Wagging Hearts, a local animal rescue organization, and Evanston Swims. We invite all community members to come to this fun event – dogs and their families do not have to be members, but dogs must bring their owners.

All dogs must be current in vaccinations. “Dog guards” will be on duty, but owners are responsible for the conduct of their dogs. The swimming pool is for canines only and will be drained after the event for our annual cleaning.

Evanston Swims is a free swimming and water safety instruction program for elementary school students. It runs at the Y and the YWCA throughout the school year and is an initiative of Evanston 150 in partnership with School District 65, the YWCA Evanston/North Shore and the McGaw YMCA.
