17th Annual Catholic Charities Golf Invitational Presented by Happy Products

Chicago, IL – On Wednesday, July 23rd, kicking off at 10 a.m.Catholic Charities will host its 17th Annual Golf Invitational at the picturesque Cog Hill Golf & Country Club located in Lemont, just 30 miles southwest of the city. Emceed by NBC’s Andy Avalos, the all-day event will feature a Texas Scramble-style tournament; “celebrity contest” holes; breakfast, lunch and dinner; silent auction and more. Attracting over 350 participants, golfers and enthusiasts alike are invited for a day of fun on the greens for a great cause!

Hosted by event Chair Jim Ryan along with Co-Chairs Bob Berti and Mike Smith, this annual event benefits Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Family Services Programs, which will directly support thousands of families this year who are in urgent need of food, clothing, rental and housing assistance for their families.  

Kicking off with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., golfers will play all four championship courses at Cog Hill, including Dubsdread, which is ranked among the Top 100 courses in the country by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. Throughout the day, participants will enjoy hole-in-one prizes, exciting skill contests, open driving range and more! Local Chicago celebrities will host contest holes. After a delicious hot breakfast and grilled lunch, the day will conclude with cocktails, a legendary Cog Hill steak dinner and fantastic silent auction featuring sports, entertainment and travel items. 

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Single players start at $500 and foursomes at $2,000. Cog Hill Golf & Country Club (www.coghillgolf.com) is located at 12294 S. Archer Avenue, Lemont, Illinois.
