2013 Ruby Slipper

Honor older adults and celebrate experience at SASI's annual Ruby Slipper gala, featuring dinner, live and silent auctions, and a raffle. 2013 Honoree is award-winning news anchor Joan Esposito. Honorary Chair is Julie Hamos, Director of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services. Fabulous auction prizes include financial consultation with nationally acclaimed personal finance guru Terry Savage, Blackhawks tickets, get-aways to Wisonsin and the Four Seasons in Chicago, roundtrip airline tickets to any U.S. continental destination, and seats at many of Chicago's finest theaters and restaurants.

Admission is $125 per person. Reservations are limited and are due October 7.

Proceeds benefit Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (SASI), a community nonprofit based in Evanston that helps older adults who, due to aging, illness or injury, need assistance with personal care and daily activities.
