A Celebration in Support of Foundation 65... 'My 65 Summer Book Bash' Benefit

Foundation 65’s annual My 65 Benefit will be held Friday January 31, 2014 at the Hilton Orrington in Evanston from 7-11 pm.

The benefit is an annual event that raises funds to support the Foundation's programs throughout District 65 schools.  This year's event will give attendees a taste of summer during the winter cold by showcasing the impact of the Summer Reading Program.  The event sells out every year and Foundation 65 expects to sell out again this year.

"The Foundation is extremely grateful to our event sponsors," said Lise Jinno, Foundation 65's Executive Director.  "Thanks to the leadership of our title sponsor, the Tawani Foundation and Col (IL) J.N. Pritzker, IL ARNG (Retired), as well as our lead donors, the Lewis-Sebring Family Foundation and Northwestern University, we expect to raise even more money this year in support of literacy and arts programs for students across all schools in the district."

The event will have raffle packages that include sports tickets and dinners, a summer cruise on a yacht, a chance for your child to ride to school on an Evanston fire truck, as well as an amazing ski trip in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Funds raised will support Foundation 65 arts and literacy programs and reach students throughout District 65.
