NMF is committed to being a charitable member of the global
community by supporting a multitude of worthy causes through personal
donations, fundraisers, camps, grants, and scholarships. One key program of NMF
is the “The Village Project” where one hundred Chicago area students, ages
14-18, are

selected to attend a weekend retreat to learn about
motivation, building confidence, and becoming a positive role model.  Guest speakers from the community present a
variety of issues and topics for discussion and last year’s speakers included
Katalin Ogren, Antoine Collins, Mikel Welch, Delmarie Cobb, Carlos Boozer,
Jimmy Butler, Nazr, moderator Agrey Sam, and keynote speaker Sadiqua Reynolds.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $100 per person and can be
purchased at www.NazrMohammed.com.

 The
University of Chicago Medicine Kovler Diabetes Center is dedicated to
continuing a tradition of excellence in clinical care, basic and clinical
research, community engagement and education. Its mission is to deliver
leading-edge care and develop innovative treatments and cures for individuals
with diabetes.  Established in 2006, the
