Chicago House Welcomes Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for 5th Anniversary Speaker Series

On Wednesday, September 18th, from 11:30 am – 2 pm, Chicago House, the first organization in the Midwest to provide housing for people with HIV and AIDS, will host its 5th Annual Speaker Series Luncheon at the Chicago Hilton. The Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton, Former Secretary of State and Former U.S. Senator from New York, will serve as the keynote speaker, alongside remarks by Chicago House CEO Stan Sloan for this much anticipated and inspirational afternoon!

Led by Chicago House Trustee and returning event chair, Todd Hamilton of Bolder Capital, guests will enjoy a three-course lunch in the Chicago Hilton’s beautiful International Ballroom. The event, now in its 5th year, expects over 1,200 attendees, and will kick off with a VIP reception, followed by a lunch presentation with Secretary Clinton.

In its inaugural year in 2009, the organization welcomed President Bill Clinton to kick off what has now become its largest and most impactful annual fundraising event.  The past three Speaker Series events have featured remarks by great minds in philanthropy, business, entertainment and politics, including former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, award-winning actor Whoopi Goldberg and designer Kenneth Cole.  The luncheon brings awareness to issues of domestic and global HIV and AIDS activism, while celebrating the accomplishments Chicago House has achieved locally, all while raising funds to support the over 1,500  men, women, and children they serve.
