Do You Have a Family Member with Mental Illness? - Evanston Class starts Feb 15

The

National Alliance on Mental Illness, Cook County North Suburban Chapter, will
offer the Family-to-Family Education Program, a 12-week course for families of adult
loved ones dealing with serious mental illness.

Classes start in Evanston on Saturday mornings, Feb 15 – May 3, from

9:00 – 11:30 am at the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave.

This
course is free of charge and is taught by family members who have first-hand experience.  Families learn about the major mental
illnesses - symptoms, medications, side effects, services available, communication,
and coping strategies. Class members also gain understanding and support from
each other.  Call NAMI, 847-716-2252 to
register.
