Alex, a young Parisian drug dealer, always pays off debts of his troublesome older brother Isaac. When his cousin says he's opening a restaurant in Tel Aviv, Alex jumps at the chance for a new beginning and asks to join. But first he must raise money, and also make "aliyah", the term for Jews emigrating to Israel. Beyond the red tape, this also involves connecting with his Jewish roots. Alex must also face leaving behind the city he loves, as well as the new entrancing woman that has suddenly fallen into his life. Torn between his aliyah, drug dealing, his complicated love life, and destructive brother, Alex must find his own way out.
