Sunday, December 15, 3 pm, Community Meeting Room, Main Library

Come meet bestselling writer Laurence Gonzales as he reads from his latest book House of Pain: New and Selected Essays. Gonzales will take questions and sign books following his reading, and copies of House of Pain will be available to purchase.

Laurence Gonzales is the author of numerous books including the bestseller Deep Survival: Who Lives, Who Dies, and Why, its sequel Surviving Survival: The Art and Science of Resilience, and his recent novel Lucy. His many honors include two National Magazine Awards and the Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. He lives in Evanston.
