Former New York Times reporter Leslie Maitland reads from her mesmerizing debut Crossing the Borders of Time. Described as Schindler's List meets Casablanca, the book recounts Maitland's epic search for her mother's pre-WWII beau - 50 years later. Ms. Maitland will take questions and sign books following the reading, and copies of Crossing the Borders of Time will be available to purchase courtesy of Lake Forest Bookstore.
