Community Corner

Community Tour Day at ETHS

Evanston Township High School is committed to providing prospective families and individuals who live, work, or own businesses in the District 202 Evanston/Skokie community with an opportunity to visit the school and learn more about resources and initiatives. New this school year, ETHS is offering Community Tour Days on select Saturdays during the 2012-13 school year.

The ETHS Community Tour Days are designed to provide an overview of ETHS and provide answers to frequently asked questions. Each tour is approximately 45-60 minutes in duration and includes visits to the athletics facilities, career and technical education wing, libraries, and fine arts/performing arts areas. Prospective ETHS families, District 202 community members, business owners, and people who work in Evanston/Skokie organizations or businesses are invited to attend.

While child care is not provided, children may attend ETHS Community Tour Days with a registered adult; please note that tours are not recommended for children under the age of 5 or adults with limited mobility due to extensive walking. Tours are hosted by the Communications Office and Freshman Transition Coordinator with support from ETHS Student and Parent Ambassadors.
