Oil Lamp Theater presents WEEKEND COMEDY, a scintillating contemporary comedy by Jeanne and Sam Bobrick.
Two New York couples discover that, due to a booking error, they've rented the same cottage for a three-day weekend. One couple, Frank and Peggy, is sedate and middle aged. The other, Tony and Jill, are free-wheeling and young. They decide to share the cabin. Before long, the comedic clash between the generations begins!
Is love an effervescent and passionate adventure? Or is it about comfort and steadiness? Is it, perhaps, knowing everything there is to know about someone and loving them anyway? These are just some of the questions these couples confront during their weekend together as the sparks fly and the hilarity escalates. Before long, they stumble into new realizations about themselves and about that mysterious and wonderful thing called "love."

Doors open Thursday through Friday at 7:30 pm, and at 2:30 pm for Sunday matinees. Oil Lamp Theater is a BYOB establishment, so bring your own beverage. We will cork it and provide glasses at no charge.
