Forever Young: An EPL YA Book Group for Grown Ups-Code Name Verity

Thursday, January 16, 7pm, Seminar Room, Third Floor, Main Library

Why should teens have all the fun? In this discussion group, we will read and talk about some pretty amazing YA fiction, through the filter of our grown up eyes. We’ll compare today’s YA literature to that of when we were teens, and have frank conversations about what it’s like for young people in today’s world, and what it’s like after we’ve all grown up. Books for each discussion are available at the Readers Advisory Desk on the second floor of the Main Library one month before.
This month we're reading Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein. Please register.

In 1943, a British fighter plane crashes in Nazi-occupied France and the survivor tells a tale of friendship, war, espionage, and great courage as she relates what she must to survive while keeping secret all that she can.
