Freshii & Free the Children Fun Run

Freshii will be hosting a fun run down Michigan Avenue to celebrate their new partnership with Free the Children, a non-profit that builds school kitchens and vegetable gardens to help nourish children and communities in the developing world. To help raise money for Free the Children, Freshii customers can purchase a $5 limited edition reusable “green bowls” at all Freshii locations. Join special guests Wilson Meikuaya and Jackson Ntirkana as they lead a fun run – dressed in traditional red shukas with beaded jewelry – to Freshii locations throughout the city to symbolize health, wellness and nutrition.

When/Where: Wednesday December 4, 2013 Meet at 10:45am at, 900 N. Michigan Ave. for the fun run or at the Freshii location in The Palmer House, 17 E. Monroe for lunch

The first 50 lunch customers will receive the reusable bowl for free and the opportunity to meet Freshii CEO Matthew Corrin, creator of the healthy casual food concept, Marc Kielburger co-founder of Free The Children, as well as the Massai warriors Wilson Meikuaya and Jackson Ntirkana.
