Grandparents' Day Pet-A-Palooza

Join us for the Pet-a-Paloosa on Grandparents' Day, Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Westminster Place retirement community in the parking lot by the tennis courts on Grant St. This free event is open to residents, families, grandchildren and the community is invited!


Good citizenship tests for canines will be available in the morning starting at 11:30 ($20). Main events start at 1:30 p.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m. Meet several rescue groups with adoptable pets. Visit  a pet vendor market (pet supplies, grooming services, dog walkers, Big Sky Dog Training). Get personal pet advice in a 15 minutes hands-on session ($10). Participate in the pet parade, compete for Best Trick, Cutest Pet and Pet/Owner Look Alike Prize.  The event will benefit the participating rescue and shelter groups. for more information, call 847-492-4872.
