Community Corner

Northwestern University Summit on Sustainability

The Northwestern University Summit on Sustainability (NUSOS) is an annual environmental conference that brings together members of the Northwestern community, business leaders, and individuals from around the country to learn about and discuss a sustainability topic.  This year, NUSOS is partnering with Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) to host a three-day national conference, flying in students from chapters at colleges across the country.  The 2014 theme of "Innovation" will explore the myriad of new ideas, problems, and solutions we encounter as we adjust and invent the future.  Our panelists and keynote will address topics ranging from new technology and policy, innovations in energy, and agriculture, as well as evolving models of community engagement and environmental social justice.  Join us for 6 panels, 2 keynotes, and a full day of stimulating discussion.
