THE MCGAW YMCA GALA FOR THE ROARING ACHIEVEMENT OF OUR YOUTH

Celebrate 1920s style at our biggest event of the year
benefiting the McGaw YMCA youth programs. This Gala is a uniquely Evanston
event featuring Local Celebrities, Silent & Live Auctions, Prize Raffle,
Frank Falduto Jazz Quartet, 1920s Video Reel Featuring Program Participants and
Highlights, Dinner, Dancing, and Cocktails.

The Y is one of the nation’s leading nonprofits,
strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social
responsibility. The McGaw YMCA offers a number of substantive programs for
children and teens to support them academically, emotionally, and socially, and
through these programs, we have positively impacted the lives of many
Evanstonians and beyond for more than 125 years. We believe that all children
deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can become.  Our goal is that every young person in
Evanston - especially those who need us the most - has access to experiences
that enable them to achieve their potential through our Children’s Center,
camps, and tutoring, mentoring, and leadership development programs. We count
on this Gala and the generosity of many supporters throughout the year to help
us bring our programs and services to those that need them the most. Last year
we were able to provide fee assistance to 1 out of every 3 children in our
Children’s Center; give over $138,000 in fee assistance to children, teen, and
families attending Camp Echo; provide over 1,600 hours in tutoring to local
children and teens; facilitate more than 4,700 hours in mentoring for
Evanston’s children and teens; and so much more.
