Understanding Psychiatric Medications

Suzanne M. Andriukaitis, Executive Director of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill, NAMI of Greater Chicago will discuss the benefits and side effects of medications that are prescribed for the treatment of psychiatric disorders and the impact that medication adherence can have on the recovery process of a person with mental illness.
