YAMO

YAMO tackles reality
shows…and everything else

YAMO, Evanston Township High School’s annual student revue,
opens Friday, October 11, for a seven-night run in the school’s Upstairs
Theater. Now in its 56th year, this student-run production involves
over 125 students as writers, directors, actors, singers, musicians, and stage
crew and always draws sell-out audiences.

This year’s laugh-fest, subtitled “Orange You Glad I Didn’t
Say YAMO?,” lampoons such weighty topics as reality shows (Supt. Witherspoon’s
Apprentice), Taylor Swift’s love life, and the (temporary) death of the Twinkie,
among other targets for humor.
