Evanston Garden Fair Fri.-Sat. on Central St

The 65th Annual Evanston Garden Fair starts tomorrow (Friday May 9) at Independence Park on Central St 3 blocks west of Green Bay. You'll see the big red and white striped tent on the north side ready for any kind of weather--rain or shine.

The fair will be on both Fri and Sat from 9am to 4 pm., and will be selling complete container gardens (popular), bedding flowers, herbs and veggies. Also on hand in the park will be various vendors. If you want to just stop by and ask questions of the garden experts in the big tent, that's fine.

Evanston Garden Fair is a non-profit organization that is part of the Garden Clubs of Illinois. Proceeds go to maintaining gardens at the Civic Center and at Evanston schools. Enjoy your visit.
