The 24th Annual Evanston Garden Walk takes place from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 30. The Walk will feature nine private gardens, one public garden, and a Burr Oak that was here when Evanston celebrated its 1st Anniversary one-hundred fifty years ago. Among the gardens:
--A large garden on the lake with a beach house and koi pond
--Two neighboring townhouse gardens that share ideas
--A garden with large stone sculptures and collected objects
--A quiet garden with a frog pond and unusual ferns
--a Zen garden with stonework made by hand
